Students in Ms. Strehlow's Cultures and Foods of the World class just finished their France unit. Students learned about some of the history, geography, names and classics of French cuisine. Topics studied include regulations on food and beverages, measuring the nutritional value foods, labeling and cross-cultural comparisons of the use of GMOs in our food and beverage sources. In the kitchen, our focus is on communication, teamwork, planning and preparation. Looking forward to our next unit: Southeast Asia!
