• The structure of the Greenhouse is complete, with utilities to be installed next. 

• Pave the Way Fundraiser has met its initial fundraising goal of $125,000. 

• Donations can still be made through December 31, 2023. All donations will be used towards the completion, operation, and maintenance of the greenhouse. 

• Official opening still planned for Spring 2023. 

The greenhouse would be utilized by middle and high school agriculture students in a wide variety of ways.  In addition, uses could extend to other areas of the school and as well as the community.  The greenhouse could also be incorporated into the middle school Nutrition class, as well as both high school and middle school Science, Art and English curriculums. There is also the possibility to grow food that could be utilized by the district’s Food Service department in the preparation of our breakfast and lunch programs. The use of the greenhouse could extend to the community by inviting master gardeners to host courses for students and community members.
