September 5th 2025 PE MS/HS Update

Greetings PEASD Middle/High School Families,

It was a fantastic 1st week of the school year! This week we prioritized routines, structures, and expectations that will set the stage for a great school year for all students.

District Updates
- SPACO Bags Tournament: Saturday, September 27th (link attachment): Mark your calendars for the 1st Annual Cornhole Tournament from 10am-2pm on Saturday, September 27th! - Homeroom Presentations This Week: This week we reviewed presentations with our students. Use this link to review the presentation at your convenience. Many new faces in our building!
- Schedule Changes Deadline; Friday, September 5th 3pm: As was shared with students and families, 3pm is the deadline for all HS schedule changes. Families are encouraged to email PE HS Counselor Megan Rowe at mrowe@peasd.org if they need any support with schedules.
- Picture day: Network photography will be at PEHS/MS on Thursday, September 11th to take school pictures for all students. You can get the printable order form here. - HOCO 2025: Get ready for an exciting week of Homecoming in the PEASD! More details will be shared in the coming weeks, but mark your calendars for September 29-October 4th.
- 25-26 Bus Routes: Bus route information has been entered into Skyward for the 2025-26 school year and is now available in Family Access. If there is no information listed, please contact our route person, Jessica Chelminiak. She can be reached via email at: jessica.chelminiak@dtcbus.com.
- PE MS/HS Cell Phone Update: Students at both levels have done a great job following the updated Cell Phone guidelines per the updated language in the. Thank you for your support as we prioritize learning and minimize distractions for our learners!
