Eagle Elementary Third Graders Step Back in Time at Local Historical Museum

Third graders from Eagle Elementary School in Eagle, Wisconsin took a special field trip this week to the Eagle Historical Museum, where they explored the rich history of their community. The visit was part of their Literacy and Social Studies units focused on understanding communities—past and present.
Students had the opportunity to learn about the fascinating story of the Eagle Diamond, a legendary gem discovered in the area. They also participated in a hands-on experience by taking part in a mock one-room schoolhouse session, giving them a glimpse into what education looked like many years ago.
