**Each Wednesday will focus on building activities in which students will create buildings, vehicles and even living things! Independent building and problem solving with creativity!**

Dear MS/HS Families,
As we move into the winter season, this is a quick reminder of how we communicate school updates related to weather, including delays, closures, or other schedule changes. Our goal is always to keep families informed quickly, clearly, and consistently.
When a weather-related decision is made, you will receive updates through the following channels:
1. District Email & Text Alerts
Sent directly to all parents/guardians through our messaging system.
2. District Website
A weather alert will appear on the homepage with the most current information.
3. Social Media
Updates will be posted on the district’s official Facebook page.
4. Local News Outlets
School closures or delays are also shared with area news stations.
We encourage families to check multiple platforms—especially on questionable weather days—to ensure you receive updates as soon as they are released.
As always, families may choose to keep their child home if they feel conditions in their specific area are unsafe, even if school remains open. Your judgment for your child’s safety is respected and supported.
Thank you for staying connected and for your partnership as we navigate winter weather together.
Josh Kerr
Principal
Palmyra-Eagle MS/HS
