Spotlight on Reader’s Theater! 

Our Palmyra-Eagle Summer School students have been working incredibly hard! They have spent the last few weeks practicing scripts, rehearsing characters, and creating beautiful scenery for multiple plays. 

Today, Monday, June 22nd, all that hard work paid off! The class put on a fantastic performance of The Ant and the Grasshopper for a very special audience of 5K and 1st-grade students.

Readers Theater is more than just fun—it is an excellent opportunity for students to build critical reading and literacy skills in a consistent, constructive, and creative environment. 

Readers Theater naturally boosts students' reading fluency, confidence, and public speaking skills.  

We applaud our actors for their dedication and teamwork!
