What is Montessori? 
Montessori is an education philosophy and practice that fosters rigorous, self-motivated growth for children and adolescents in all areas of their development, with a goal of nurturing each child’s natural desire for knowledge, understanding, and respect.

What grades will be included in the Palmyra-Eagle Montessori School?
There will be a 3K, 4K & 5K classroom, a 1st-3rd Grade classroom and a 4th-6th Grade classroom.

My child is younger than 3K, is there programming available? 
Yes, we will be offering an Infant & Toddler Program, along with wrap-around care provided for hours outside of the school-day. 

What costs are associated with the Montessori School?
It does not cost anything extra to enroll in the Montessori School for 4K-6th Grade.  3K is tuition based, as it is not part of the charter grant.

Is the Infant & Toddler Programming year-round?
Yes, that programming will be 12 months. 

Is the 4K/5K programming for half a day or full day? 
4k & 5K programming will be full day, or half day, depending on parent preference. 

Is Transportation available?
At this time, Transportation is not offered for those who attend the Montessori School. 

What happens if we try Montessori but find that it is not a good fit for our family?
You do have the option to switch to Eagle Elementary. 

Is Financial Assistance available?
Financial assistance will be available, and the lunch program will also have a Free & Reduced lunch option to apply for.
