Dear EES Families,
We are excited to be moving into May! Thank you for your ongoing support in making this a wonderful year for our students.
Forward testing is now complete, and we are proud of the focus and effort our students demonstrated throughout the process. We will have Fastbridge testing starting next week.
On Tuesday, April 29, we will kick off our annual A–Z Countdown to Summer! Each day will bring a special theme or activity as we celebrate the hard work and achievements of our students. The classroom teachers will share the A-Z List.
We also had an incredible week of events! Our Art Show and Talent Show were both huge successes. A special thank you to Ms. Kotnick and our wonderful parent volunteers who helped make the Art Show a beautiful celebration of creativity. Thank you as well to Mrs. Bennett and Ms. Aranda for leading a fantastic Talent Show—our students were truly ready to shine!
Last week, we also had High Interest Day. Mrs. Kirkley helped plan a wonderful event. This event was possible due to all the community members that volunteered to spend the day at EES!
Lastly, we successfully conducted our April fire drill today. Our students and staff responded quickly and responsibly, demonstrating our continued commitment to safety.
