BCI Burke Community Scholarships Area 5/1/2024 $500 & $1,000
Requirements:

Two BCI Burke Community Scholarships are available:

  • One $500 scholarship will be awarded to a Moraine Park Technical College (WI) or Fox Valley Technical College (WI) student enrolled in the following programs: Interactive Media Design, Mechanical Design Technology, Mechanical CAD Drafting, Digital Media or Welding.
  • One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, graphic design or business.

*Students must be a Wisconsin resident, U.S. citizen and meet the above criteria.

Foremost Media Scholarship Local 5/1/2024 $500
Requirements:

Foremost Media is excited to support a student in their quest to better their lives through higher education with the launch of our Annual Foremost Media $500 Scholarship Award. This scholarship will be awarded each on July 1st to one dedicated student who is pursuing or intending to pursue an undergraduate degree in Marketing or Web Development.

  • Open to any high school senior planning on attending an accredited university, technical college, or trade school or already attending and accredited university, techor trade school
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Please include one letter of reference from  a teacher or employer.
  • Must complete all form required fields

Provide a short paragraph 250-500 words (3000 character max) on who you are and why you want to work in the industry or what interests you most about online marketing or website design. Our $500 scholarship offer will be awarded to the applicant who best describes their interest in web marketing and/or programming.

Wisconsin American Legion Americanism Programs and Scholarships - Department of Wisconsin Area 7/15/2024 various amounts
Requirements:

The Department offers a number of scholarships to assist in students pursuing higher education.  Please visit the American Legion, Department of Wisconsin website for more information on each scholarship and to apply.  Be aware that scholarship amounts and deadlines vary by scholarship.

Wisconsin Towns Association Scholarship Area 5/24/2024 $1,000
Requirements:

The Wisconsin Towns Association, Rural Mutual Insurance Company, and Scott Construction, Inc. will be awarding $7,000 in scholarships to high school graduating seniors that plan to enroll in a Wisconsin public or private college or university in fall of 2024. The winners are determined by independent judging of an essay contest. 

Entrants must prepare an essay addressing the 2024 WTAS Scholarship program topic:  "What strategies can be implemented by town officials in collaboration with citizens to maintain civility in local government?"

Must be typed and be between 500 - 1,000 words and double spaced.  Essays must include a bibliographic listing of sources used.

Applicants must be a 2024 graduate and plan to attend a Wisconsin public or private college or University in Fall 2024.

Awards:

2 - $1,000 scholarships will be awarded, one each to the highest ranking boy and highest ranking girl from a town or village insured by Rural Mutual Insurance as of May 1, 2024.

5 - $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to the top five additional students with the highest ranking essay scores.
